Please see the "GEM Blog: GEM Unification Rescinded, Officially" video. This is a dramatic reading of a blog by the Stand-Up Physicist available at http://Science 2o.com. I am all in for my bet against the Higgs being discovered at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The reason the Higgs is required is explained. The weak force has massive bosons, so that must break gauge symmetry. I offer an alternative. Quaternions can be used to right the E and B fields of EM in a gauge invariant way (explained in the video, honest). I speculate that something I am calling California Quaternions can do the work of gravity in a gauge invariant way. Re write those both in a non-gauge invariant way. Now subtract those two and the gauge terms exactly cancel.
