One of the most prevalent themes so far at the 7th EuChemS congress has been the importance of encouraging, empowering and enabling young chemists in their careers. Alice, from Italy, and Fernando, originally from Spain but now resident in the UK, are leading the European Young Chemists Network at the #EuChemS2018 congress.
