8-Bit Armies is one of the most fun voxel style games I've played.  This thing is really a blast, literally!  The idea here is real time strategy, much in the vein as the old Command and Conquer series for the older fogies out there, and in reality there is a lot of unit command similarities with Starcraft as well.  We're getting into the game, going through the tutorial, and setting out on the first mission with a lot of success.  The graphics may be simple, but the animation quality and the fluidity of the animation is absolutely stellar.  Seriously, these folks did an excellent job with the animation quality, and the retro style soundtrack is actually pretty darn rocking!  My hope is to play and come up with little tips and tricks for folks in their 8-Bit en-devours, and it seems there is a multi player function as well, which I might look at in the future.  For now, I just want to get some of this slick gameplay to you guys and maybe you'll be interested in checking out the game.  The developer seems to have quite a few titles under their belt, but this one looks like a real hit!
