Anime Expo 2018 is unique this year: new security chips in our badges & hotter weather (Saturday alone was 100F/38C!). Like last year, I'm stepping away from still photos and more into montage videos. I was to retire my camera for a new model, but it was still on delivery (maybe pay the express delivery despite being more expensive?). My camera is showing its age as it occasionally tries to focus (thus appearing blurry at times) that I would use my smartphone camera. But due to the heatwave, I was more concerned in staying cool than shooting footage.
