I bought this grip from B&H Photo for $219 with free shipping, gotta love these guys.  I mainly got this grip because my hands are a little big and they get cramped up on the camera body, so I bought this grip to make my hands much more comfortable to shoot with all day.  Its a fantastic grip, I really love it a lot.  I'm glad my fellow photographers talked me into it. 

I would avoid buying the 3rd party grips, I know the drop in price is tempting.. but it just isn't worth it.  You will not get the same build quality as this legit Nikon grip.  I mean its alloy, weather sealed and the buttons have the same rubber feeling like the ones on the Nikon D7000.. Its worth spending the money.  The other issue with the 3rd party grips is the fact that the wiring is not very good and I've heard stories of their camera's fried because of the 3rd party grip they got off from eBay.
