Job Losses Ease But Unemployment Hits 25-Year High

The U.S. unemployment rate has climbed again -- up four tenths of a percent -- as employers slashed 539,000 jobs in April. Although the job losses are the lowest since October, they helped push the nation's unemployment rate to 8.9 percent, the highest in 25 years. The White House says the job report underscores the need for better-trained workers. VOA's Mil Arcega reports.
