Nobel laureate for literature Günter Grass calls his translators an author's best readers. For over 30 years, Grass has invited them to Germany for a workshop lasting several days. Few writers place as much importance on working with his translators as Grass. He has recently been working with 16 translators on his novel "The Box" in Lübeck's Literaturhaus.
