Hell's Bells! The opening to the NES game Deadly Towers. After the title screen you get scrolling text of the story with key items set between the paragraphs. Basic stuff. Developed by Lenar and published by Irem in Japan in 1986 and Broderbund in North America in 1987. The game is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. It's a flawed game for sure. But it had a lot of variety and potential. It just falls short a little too much. Frustrating enemy spawns and movement patterns, a weapon that's way too slow at a distance because you can only fire one sword at a time and precarious ledges are just some of the problems in a game that would otherwise be a lot better. Too bad a decent remake is highly unlikely to ever happen. I rented this game a lot as a kid and actually really enjoyed it despite never being able to get very far.
