The first choreographer as Artist in Residence at The Met, Andrea Miller, founder and artistic director of Gallim, created new works designed to engage with the Museum's galleries and great spaces. Miller closed her residency with six days of performances of (C)arbon, an anthropological study of the body that took over the entire Fifth Floor of The Met Breuer. In this work, each gallery was dedicated to the body as experience (individual, dual relations, and en masse). The performances took place simultaneously, repeated three times, so all could be viewed. View Survive and Love, Collide.
