About 1906 Music: "Kaleidoscope". 24 pieces for violin & Piano by Cezar Cui Here i present a photographic montage album of the 34th graduation class from the Voronezh Diocesan Women's School from about 1906. The school was opened in 1865 on Resurrection Street, No.22. Girls were enrolled from priest's families from the age of 10-12 years of age at the school. The main task of the educational institution was to prepare "for the spiritual class of educated and worthy wives, mothers, masters and helpers to husbands in the matter of public education." The term of training with a pedagogical class was defined by the Charter for seven years. Graduates received certificates with the right to teach in primary local and parochial schools. Before the Revolution, the school had two headmistresses: Nadezhda Alekseevna Kolodkina (1865 - January 6, 1895 ) and Evgenievna Astaf'eva Kleopatra (March 20, 1895 - 1917 .
