In a world of young people glued to their screens, how will we fare? What will the next generation make of Europe? Maroš Šefčovič describes the differences from his experiences in growing up in the Soviet Union and today's world of nearly limitless travel.

Maroš Šefčovič is one of the Vice-Presidents of the European Commission, being in charge of the Energy Union. Šefčovič. Mr Šefčovič did pretty much everything possible in politics: from being Czechoslovakia's ambassador to Zimbabwe (1991-1992), Canada (1992) Israel (1999), to being the European Commissioner for Education (2009-2010). Now, he is the Vice President of the European Commission, responsible for the Energy Union.
