This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Perspective is key. Jeff's talk is about the importance of gratitude, which he attributes his positive attitude to.

Jeff Scott was one of the three winners in the 2013 National Mobility and Equipment Dealers Local Hero contest. Besides playing with the provincial wheelchair rugby team and the provincial track and field team, he is also the cofounder and president of the Live it! Love it! Foundation. Since his paralyzing accident four years ago, he is often asked how he is able to maintain such a positive attitude throughout his rehabilitation. He has spent the last two years giving motivational talks on exactly that.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
