Has Home minister Rajnath Singh become a mere rubber stamp in Modi-government? The former President of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is no more than a rubber stamp in the process of selection of senior bureaucrats, said a media reports. As per an Indian Express report, until now, the procedure for appointments was carried through the Home Minister. Traditionally, the Cabinet Secretary sends files on appointments to the Home Minister for his approval followed by a ratification by the Prime Minister's office.
