Ohio State University has suspended the Buckeyes’ head football coach Urban Meyer for 3 games during the season, along with AD Gene Smith. Following a two-week investigation, the Ohio State board of trustees found Meyer liable in improperly reporting the domestic violence allegations against Zach Smith. Cam Rogers tells you why Ohio State failed in only suspending Urban Meyer, arguing the school should have fired him. Ohio State football begins the 2018 regular season against Oregon State, followed by games against Rutgers and #16 TCU. Ryan Day will continue to serve as the interim head coach for those games. Meyer had been on paid administrative leave since August 1st following Courtney Smith alleging in a media interview that Meyer and others within the Ohio State football program knew about Zach Smith’s misconduct, but did nothing about it.
