In this talk at TEDxEdges 2010, Stephan Magnus talks about the Cyberdropouts, a term he coined to refer about talented people that live in different geographies than their employers location - you probably know some, or are one yourself, as most webdesigners, bloggers, or developers can work from pretty much where they want to. Stephan goes on to explain how the Algarve can develop a strategy to attract this talents. Stephan Magnus, born in 1963 in Germany, and he is a consultant, futurist, digital-media-producer and author. He is helping companies like GM, Audi or IBM to implement digital strategies for communication, qualification and innovation. As a pioneer of the medium he is producing the leading German-speaking podcast about the future. Most recent works in futurism were studies about the future of the TV-industry, financial services and publishing.
