"Applejewel / Dueling Ways" BGM from the episode "Simple Ways" of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" (S04E13).

--Overall Comments--

Well, here was an episode that stands out from the rest in terms of content. We get an episode involving crushes right in time for Valentines Day. Plus plenty of amazing Tabitha performances, and Applejack...oh mai.

The BGM for this episode is what you would expect--a few love themes intermixed with some great instrumental back and forth, and confusion, as the two characters exchange personalities. There's also a few tracks in here with some completely new themes for the series.

--Track Specific Comments--

In a bid to make Rarity see how dense she is being, Applejack does the same thing and begins to act like Rarity--with hilarious consequences!

This is definitely the highlight track from the episode. We start out with a fantastic tango as Applejack enters the runway.

The BGM, much like the action on-screen, quickly beings to out-of-control as Rarity and Applejack try to outdo each other impression of the other. You really have to love the swapped instrument pallets for Rarity and AJ in this scene--its quite jarring, much like the visuals.
