The shell is gone from this bulb, so we microwave just the plasma tube. I have used a neutral density filter on the camera to reduce the glare and sensor overload from the bright discharge. It takes a while for the green color to ease as other elements in the tube begin to ionize later in the clip. This plasma tube was not damaged by it's time in the microwave and could be microwaved again. Don't miss the other Inside View videos. I hope you enjoyed this.
