MailOnline Travel's Sadie Whitelocks spent almost two weeks sleeping in a hammock in Guyana as part of a kayaking expedition down an uncharted river snaking through the wilds. She said the noise of the jungle made it difficult to sleep with various creatures emerging from the undergrowth come nightfall.
