Using an Amazon Echo & a Raspberry Pi, we can control our TiVo devices to change channels with our voice, you can also use this code to start Netflix and Hulu on your TiVo. Detailed instruction on my GitHub: https://github.com/shrocky2/Quick_Alexa_TiVo This project using Python code called Fauxmo, which turns your Raspberry Pi into a fake Belkin WeMo device (a smart outlet), allowing us to turn ON and OFF code. My code then telnets into the TiVo to remote control it. During the discovery phase, Alexa will only search for 20 seconds, which is only enough time to program 12 devices into Alexa's memory. If you want to program more than 12 channels, check out my long and more detailed video: https://youtu.be/yMz-6I-fUxc
