Getting cooperation from your subject is not hard. http://www.elitevideo.com It is a matter of informally chatting first, asking permissing, then shooting, then taking more small breaks to chat (instead of non stop shooting) . This keeps the subject for feeling annoyed that you are taking so many pictures for so long. It also builds a rapport as you are getting to know about them as you take a small break every couple of minutes. After 8 to 10 minutes with a stranger, they can start feeling uncomfortable and it will show on their expression. The idea is to work with that short window while they are still giving you all they have. Break and chat every couple minutes, then resume, Work quick and when you get what you need, Say thank you, and more on.
