"The Silk Railroad" is a first-ever co-production by CGTN and the National Geographic Channel. It is co-presented by British historian Sam Willis and CGTN host Li Qiuyuan. They investigate how the Silk Railroad is benefiting the countries and people along the route of the Belt and Road. The documentary has been broadcast on the National Geographic Channel in about 140 countries and regions around the world since June. The first episode of "The Silk Railroad" was aired on CGTN on Sept. 2.
