Video's of just 7 of the 30 Protected Sea Turtle Nests on the 12.5 mile Beach of Emerald Isle North Carolina.  These were within a 2 mile distance on the Beach.  Showing where they are on the beach and the surroundings, very windy day and rough waters this weekend!  Over 80 wonderful Volunteers monitor these nests somewhere between 50 and 70 days incubation they begin nightly vigils from dusk to after midnight to assist and guide these turtles if they hatch.     Very protected not much local information is shared about these nests locations or dates on hatching, we keep coming and hope to be able to catch that moment ourselves.  Volunteer information we had received # 9 had hatchings August 1st, # 13 August 4th, #7 July 31st, # 14  over 50 hatchings for the first layer on July 31st. # 22 is due late August and # 27 Mid September.
