Tucson based trio, The Rifle, are known for their dreamy, creamy desert sound, with Nelene DeGuzman on vocals and guitar, Kevin Conklin on bass and Randy Rowland on drums. Watch them perform songs off of their 2017 LP, Anabasis, live on the TEDx stage. 
 
The Rifle is an indie-rock band based inTucson, AZ comprised of Nelene DeGuzman on vocals and guitar, Randly Rowland on drums, and Kevin Conklin on bass. Nelene hails from Redding, CA, Randy from the Pacifi c Northwest, and Kevin from San Diego, CA.

Songs performed here: Lacuna Luna, Hidden Knives, Martyr/Witness Nelene is from Redding, CA. She studied biochemistry at University of San Francisco. She now works in the analytical department at Tucson-based biotech startup NuvOx Pharma and plays music in the three-member indie dream rock band..
 
Kevin comes from San Diego, and grew up playing every fretted instrument he could find. He moved to Tucson to join his love, Nelene. He learned bass to join The Rifle.
