In 2012, Nirbhaya, a young girl was harassed and murdered. After five years, the verdict in the case has been released. The Supreme Court confirmed the conviction of the four accused. Justice Dipak Mishra and Justice R Banumathi confirmed the eviction of four accused. Among the six accused, Ram Singh committed suicide in prison and one of them is sent to juvenile prison. Both of the judges read their verdicts separately. Already the district court released the same verdict. Although the case was moved to the Supreme Court, the judges confirmed the death sentence for the rapists.
