Well, here goes my second level for the SMWCP, Cave of elements. Yeah, it is pretty hard, but this was done without savestates(or rewind for that matter).
Also, if you want to record right from the emulator, here is a small description for you. :)

"Using 1.51, open the movie options menu, click record, play until you want to stop, click stop, and then dump the video via XVID LOSSLESS using two external applications in the same folder (MEncoder and LAME)"-SleepNN
