‘Sisters and brothers of America’, were the historic words of Swami Vivekananda at Parliament of World’s Religions-Chicago in 1893. It has been 125 years since the first line of his speech captured the hearts of every American. A year earlier to the conference Swami Vivekananda visited Goa to study Christian theology and philosophy at Rachol seminary. It is said that his preparation journey for the World Religions Conference began from Goa in 1892.
