81-year-old volunteer piano player brings comfort to hospitals

While her husband battled Parkinson's disease, Aldah Medsker felt the need for something other than the standard hospital routine. After her husband passed away, her children encouraged her to volunteer as a pianist at the hospital, and after doing it one time, she fell in love. Now, she fills that need that she felt while staying by her husband's side. "I hope and pray that it's bringing calm and comfort, and getting their mind off of what's going on," she said.
