Honda has launched the second-gen Amaze in India with the petrol variants priced from Rs 5.60 lakh to 8.00 lakh while the diesel variants are priced from Rs 6.70 lakh to Rs 9.00 lakh. These are introductory prices for the first 20,000 customers.

The new Amaze was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 and looks completely different to the outgoing car. In fact, it resembles the Honda Accord from some angles. The 2018 Amaze gets features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, LED DRLs and cruise control. The cabin is more spacious than before thanks to the extended wheelbase.

The 2018 Amaze is powered by the same set of engines as before - the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines, and Honda will be adding a diesel-CVT combo to the mix as well. The power outputs of both engines remain identical, the 1.2-litre engine continues to produce 90PS of max power and 110Nm of torque and the diesel too continues to make 100PS and 200Nm in the manual trim. The diesel-CVT, however, has been down-tuned to 80PS and 160Nm and is more focused towards city driving rather than highway cruising.

Honda Amaze prices start at Rs. 5.59 lakh for petrol and goes upto Rs. 8.00 lakh. The prices of Amaze diesel variants start at Rs. 6.70 lakh and the top-end diesel is priced at Rs. 9.00 lakh. Honda Amaze is available in 12 variants and 5 colours..
