Teachers can help young children learn about science through different interactions known as science talks. A science talk may use an interactive white board and engage the whole class. Science talks may be a small group of students interacting with a teacher at the water table. A science talk can be just one teacher and a child building together at a table. In each of these instances, young children are challenged to deepen their understanding and become excited about science. Learn more on the Science in Pre-K website: http://scienceinprek.si.edu/
