Just because parents split, it doesn’t mean that the family unit is broken, especially in Mariah Carey’s case as the star is "fully committed" to co-parenting her twins with her former husband Nick Cannon.
The ‘We Belong Together’ hitmaker has six year old twins, Moroccan and Monroe with her former spouse, who she split from in 2014 and divorced in 2016. – Looks as though they didn’t quite belong together in the end. 
However, more than three years after the pair went their separate ways, sources say they’re still “hands on parents”.  
And despite no longer being together, Mariah and Nick are “in a really good place right now.” 
Good for them!
