A 9-year-old girl was hospitalized Friday night after she was shot in the foot, Baltimore police said. City police said officers were called shortly before 8 p.m. to Slater Road in Cherry Hill, where the girl was shot. Police said the shooter was trying to shoot someone else but missed and hit the girl instead. There's no word on who fired the gun, or if anyone was in custody.
