My heavy metal band in high school, Decreped at one of the semi local spots in Northern New Jersey at the time, Obsessions. Usually a dance club one night a week they would host metal bands. We played here a lot, maybe 7 or 8 times and each time the crowd got a little bigger. This was probably our second or third show and the first time we tried our "opening" consisting of one of our friends in a suit getting his ass kicked and his suit ripped off to reveal a Decreped shirt underneath. Apparently nobody told the bounces the plan and they got a little excited, you know because of our great acting. No technical issues like with our first show but all I really remember is the rush of being on stage and performing shit that wrote yourself. An experience most people never get to have at any level. Even though the songs are terrible the hair and outfits are mind blowingly horrible and the video quality is VHS I will always have fond memories of headbanging with my bros. I can't thank Howie enough for capturing it back in the day.
