(chart as seen in RB2 as a DLC)

First, a few notes for the drums chart (right side):
1. It's the exact same chart from RB2 (DLC)
2. The chart was charted in the style of DrumMania (e.g. the middle/yellow note as the bass pedal)
3. The 5-note chords resemble the drum fills section seen in RB, with the orange note as the activation note (the green note in RB at the end of a drum fill)
4. It's played by a bot. The score resets to zero every second as a side effect.

I'm on guitar on the left side. I was never perfect at continuous alt-strumming, that's why I keep failing on those parts, but the rest of the chart is easy. Not the most fun to play, but this song is just awesome. THRICE FTW.

As for why I added the drum chart, I had this idea that's been stuck in my head for months: What if drums were implemented in GH3 before WT (or maybe even RB) was made? I keep asking myself that, and it inspired me to do this video. The whole editing process was done with and only with Vegas Pro 8. ;-)

How did I do it, you ask? It's pretty simple actually, but the process is a bit difficult. First, I recorded a "performance mode" footage with the "no fail" cheat on for the background. Then I recorded footages of the bot playing the drums chart, and me playing the guitar chart (with the "no fail" cheat OFF, of course), both of which are done with the black screen. Then I inserted all footages into the timeline, each video having its own track, with the "performance mode" footage as the back-most track. Multiple copies of the chart footage are then made, each for masking one HUD object (the rock meter, the score/multiplier, and the note highway). The resulting masks are then repositioned to where I want it to be. Finally, a chroma keyer is applied to every copy of the chart footage (except the background) to key out the excessive black-colored fractions of the mask.

Okay... maybe it's not so simple after all, lol. I may make more videos like this, if I feel like doing it. =3

Anyways, enjoy!

NOTE:
The results screen at the end is for the GUITAR, not the drums, or combined. The same goes for the rock meter. Also, Star Power is not used to make sure the resulting video's not messy (it screws up the chroma keyer effect).
