Family of six escapes Ft. Mitchell house fire

FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (WKRC) - Crews worked to put out hot spots after a house in Fort Mitchell caught fire.

They fought the flames at a house on Long Meadow Lane.

Investigators say the fire started on the deck then spread to the house.

Two adults and four  children made it out safely around 3 a.m.

The Red Cross is assisting the family.
