The temple of Edfu is probably my second favorite standalone temple after the dual temple of Sobek and Haoeris at Kom Ombo. The first thing you notice is the MASSIVE gateway that dwarfs the visitor upon arrival. Most impressive, as you can see here. This footage was recorded June 12, 2012.
