Lyrics follow below:

I wrote this song with Michael in mind, asking myself what would he want to say right now? I wrote a tune I felt he would like and the vocal is very challenging for me to sing, I recorded it in one take. I am not trying to sound like MJJ, but rather sing with a little of his vocal style as a tribute. He would have laughed too much if I'd sang in an English accent, so I revert here completely to my own childhood which seems appropriate, and sing with an American accent.

Here in the shadows
Of my thoughts
A thousand dreams
Youll never know about

Some of them
Broken
Some of them
Still dreams

Time is so precious
So fly today
For tomorrow
They can take your wings away

And leave you
Broken
Your dreams
Unspoken

So many times
Been said before
There is no harm
In saying it once more

One thing
Matters
Loving
Each other

Clear your mind
Clear your heart

Here in the shadows
Of my thoughts
A thousand dreams
Youll never know about

Some of them
Broken
Some of them
Still dreams

I woke up one day and felt compelled to write a song for Elvis Presley called "The Dream Of Old Las Vegas" . A few days later Michael Jackson died, and I realised I needed to write a song for him.
