US President Donald Trump says he had a "great call" with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. The two leaders stressed the importance of the UN-led peace process in resolving the Syrian civil war. Trump and Putin also agreed to explore ways to cooperate in the fight against militant groups such as ISIL. The two leaders spoke for over an hour. They also discussed how to achieve peace in Ukraine and the need to keep pressure on the DPRK to end its nuclear program. Trump gave his assessment to reporters before heading to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
