Sean Peck is a talented, well-established videographer with a wide-ranging body of work. For his steampunk persona and his steampunk-related work, he commissioned an original theme song to introduce his videos. I took his time-traveling character's fun, Tesla-infused backstory and turned it into a song.

Music and Lyrics 2014 Escape the Clouds. The entire track was recorded, programmed, and mixed on an Akai MPC 1000 I had just purchased.

Lyrics:
A reporter by trade
Looking for his big break
He met a guy named Tesla
Who'd solved a great dilemma!
He'd made time travel

Break:

Now he's a

Chorus:
Time-travelin'
Videographin'
Journalist and
Gentleman
With a little luck
And a lot of skill
He makes the past
Come alive again

He's a time-travellin'
Videographin'
Journalist and Gentleman
With Tesla's ride
And music in mind
He makes the world
Sound alive again
