There was something really special about the downtime prior to the Pro Stock Motorcycle final. I hope this video captures it. It felt like you could cut the excitement, anticipation and nervous energy with a knife. Everyone knew what was at stake. It was like getting ready to watch a showdown at the OK Corral. The starting line was packed with motorcycle racers and crews but no one was talking. Everyone was just waiting quietly, seemingly as nervous as the racers themselves. It’s pretty special when an entire season of coast-to-coast racing comes down to one final race. I give Matt-Angie Smith and Eddie Krawiec both a lot of credit for staying in the zone with a pair of stellar .026 lights. Could you imagine running in front of this crowd?
