The mother of Taison Freda, a member of Brazil’s World Cup squad, was briefly kidnapped in Pelotas in the south of Brazil after a man delivered flowers to her apartment building. She was released by police from a car boot 40 minutes later. CCTV footage from her home showed the flower delivery and armed men bundling her into a car.
