Here we are in Boyle Heights, which is just outside of Downtown Los Angeles, where we see B23-7 Y164, which has been converted to a Remote Control riding platform for Union Pacific. We are standing on Myer Street, which runs right along the trackage on the far side of the LA River. Tied down with the B23 are a pair of box cars that had food which was delivered to the food plant in the background. The boxcars are just a few years older than the engine. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on December 16th, 2008.
