Brock's Performance president himself, Brock Davidson, tries his luck in the ¼ mile aboard the company's BMW S1000RR, affectionately known as Christine. Shown is one of four passes during the evening, ranging from 8.86 to 8.88 with speeds reaching 159.12 MPH. The bike is outfitted entirely of bolt-on products, a completely bone stock engine, and does not use nitrous oxide. The factory gear shift assist is utilized with the Dynamic Traction Control disabled. A custom swingarm is installed and adjusted to @ 9" over stock for a 65" total wheelbase. BST carbon fiber wheels with Worldwide ceramic bearings apply the power to the ground, and a Brock's Performance CT Meg full titanium exhaust system provides the formula one-like tone as the BMW rockets away from another sportbike so quickly, that the other pilot simply decides to give up. In May of 2000, at 36 years old, Mr. Davidson earned the distinction of becoming the first person to run a seven-second pass, on a street legal motorcycle, in the quarter mile. Nine years later, and weighing in around 210 lbs. suited, his Facebook comments say it all after jumping on the new BMW, "You can't wipe the smile off of my face right now ;)" Search Brock Davidson for more information and additional performance results on Brock's bikes by some the best jockeys in the country such as Ryan Schnitz, Keith Dennis, and Jeremy Teasley.
