I'm going to make a documentary about Table Rock and The Chimneys Area in western North Carolina. I'm inviting any one who is an expert in geology, botany, rock climbing, hiking, exploring, Linville Gorge history, etc. to send me some tips and commentary about what I'm seeing in the videos. There will probably be at least 10 segments posted here, with a script written from the combined comments from the YouTube videos, emails and other communications. If you even want to record your own commentary (turn my audio off) just do so and send me an mp3. This is part three, approaching the larger Chimneys formations and including some pole cam shots rising from various vegetation. You'll see tents atop the highest portions, where rock climber or hikers are camped. I also include a bit of video of my shooting back at myself with the polecam - just because it's interesting and unusual. Thanks for any help you can provide. I used Canon HFS 200 and HFM30 Camcorders to shoot this video. I used the Zoom H2 for audio, and Davis & Sanford and Tiffen Fluid Head tripods for stabilization.
