When you meditate on your I: the first one is the merely labelled I. The second one you see as the real one. That one you are projecting on as really existing. When you recognise that this I what appears to you as real is false, then there is nothing to hold onto. But it looks like there is something you can hold on since beginningless time. Before this that I was so precious to you but suddenly there is nothing there. Then may be fear arises. You don`t know well about the experience of emptiness so you think you are falling into nihilism. You try to escape. There is unbelievable fear arising from very inside of your heart. What you should do is you have to go through the fear like crossing a river. Let the I to become completely lost. Let the I to be discovered totally empty. The falling into nihilism doesn’t harm ignorance.
