You asked a really good question. You want to know if I've already had a C-section before, is it normal to tense up before having another one? The answer to that question is absolutely. You're totally normal. Just because you've been through something before doesn't mean that you shouldn't be scared of it when going through it again. It is surgery and of course there's lots of other emotions tied up into it. You're having a baby and you're excited about that but of course there are some things that are scary. So bring those concerns to the attention of your doctor and also discuss them with your nurse at the hospital and they will be able to address them for you, ask you more specific questions about your fears and hopefully leave you feeling relived and excited for the birth of your baby when you go into the operating room. Good luck with everything and if you have any other questions for me in the future, please feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at facebook.com/intermountainmoms and recommend us to your friends and family, too.
