Toys For Tots Drive Kickoff

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- The annual Toys for Tots drive kicks off Thursday morning in Asheville. Western North Carolina Toys for Tots is a locally operated campaign of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation. Everything collected by the campaign stays in the area to provide Christmas toys for children who may otherwise not have presents to open Christmas morning. So far, Toys for Tots is committed to helping more than 10,000 area children in need this year. Renaissance Asheville Hotel is aiming to fundraise $10,000 for Toys for Tots, and you can make a difference for children in the Western NC area. You can drop off a toy at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel in downtown, anytime between Thursday and Saturday. There are also numerous other drop-off sites. Toys are needed for both boys and girls, for all ages through 13-years-old. There are numerous drop off sites in Western North Carolina. Click here to find one near you.
