Ganesh Utsav 2018 - "Jolly boys Sarvajanik Ganeshutsav Mandal (Bandra Reclamation)" 26th Annual Ganesh Festival Celebration is all the more special due to its Ecofriendly Idol and Global Warming theme. The idol is made up of 16,000 boxes of tissue paper, glue and chalk powder. Right from the beginning decor to the festivities and event like Quiz, antakshari; comedy show; dance competition; the mesmerising aarti have been the areas of focus. Come rain; storm or anything else, Jolly boys are dedicated to walk extra miles literally to make it happen and help it progress with a smooth flow.The entire Bandra Reclamation looks forward to this festival.Jolly Boys love to put in all the efforts to makes this happen in a special way. Themes over past years like Child labour, Organ Donations, Blood Donations, Stop Corruption, Drug Addictions and playing only devotional songs on loudspeakers that too strictly on timelines which will not disturb the residents adds value to lives and makes the ties between people stronger!! Jolly boys principally follow things like neither using Crackers and Colours and nor do they believe in sound pollution, so No DJ music during the procession ceremony. The procession takes place in a traditional way !!!! Let many youngsters today get motivation from this and keep the odyssey strong as ever in what ever work they do.   
The wholehearted participation and gracious support from each one of them have made the Ganesh Festival great success in the last two decades absence of which the endeavour would have been lacklustre. Today, amongst Jolly Boys many of them are married having kids some still in the country while others are staying abroad. However, at least for Ganesh Festival every year they make it a point to come down to India to celebrate this Ganesh Festival.
