The Lions Club raffle to benefit Project New Hope was a remarkable success, grossing over $99,000 in revenues that will go toward helping combat war veterans reintegrate into family life after serving their tour of duty. Mills Ford was extremely proud to share the honor of presenting the new Ford Mustang to raffle winner Luke McManigle and family. Project New Hope provides a retreat for military families to enjoy boating, fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities in a family-friendly setting complete with professional counseling services. Some of the issues addressed include stress reduction, anger managment, relationship issues and sleep issues. Project New Hope is a collaberative effort with volunteers from the Veterans Administration, US Army Reserves, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, Lions Club and Friendship Ventures.
