Spontaneous christmas tree fires erupted all over Ocean Beach on January 8th, 2012, in celebration of the 23rd annual Post Yule Pyre. The National Park Service police were out in force with their all terrain golf carts, mowing over embers on their trusty steeds much like Evil Knievel jumping over an endless row of cars.
