Hanging Temple is one of the main tourist attractions and historical sites in the Datong area of north China's Shanxi Province. It gets its name from the buildings that hang from the middle of a cliff, a structure that is regarded as one of the most dangerous pieces of architecture in the world. Hanging Temple has been getting renovated since September 1 and the process is expected to last for one month before it is reopened to the public.
